About Us

Gathered in 1744, the Congregational Church of Salisbury is an Open and Affirming member of the United Church of Christ. Our church is also a welcoming home to people from a great variety of faith backgrounds and life experiences.

Join us on a Sunday morning, and you’ll usually hear this greeting:

Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey: you are welcome here.

Welcome, if you are old or young, or a little bit of each;
doubting or believing, or a little bit of each; LGBTQIAP or straight;
hungry or full; grieving or rejoicing.

Welcome, to worshipers of all colors, all genders, all relationship statuses, all states of mind, all shapes and sizes. Because you are here, this body of Christ is whole and perfect.

Join us for any other occasion — a concert, a service project, a study group, a community conversation — and even if we don’t start with those words, we hope you’ll feel that spirit.
We look forward to welcoming you!
