The next First Friday concert will be on August 7th at 12-noon. David Baranowski will accompany Jennifer Marshall, soprano and Emily Levine, Mezzo soprano on the piano as they perform songs by American Composers Charles Ives, Leonard Bernstein Aaron Copland, and Rodgers and Hammerstein among others. nOURish BRIDGEPORT, Inc. is a food-centered, volunteer-powered, community-anchored not-for-profit, bringing hope to Bridgeport through direct service programs. In a years-long partnership, members of Salisbury UCC regularly visit nOURish BRIDGEPORT, Inc., helping to prepare and serve meals and carrying our affection and committed support to our neighbors.
The Salisbury Housing Committee creates affordable rental housing; the Salisbury Housing Trust develops affordable housing for ownership. These two groups of volunteers lead our community in advocating on behalf of neighbors who would otherwise be unable to reside in Salisbury because of our skewed housing prices.
