Crescendo will present “The South’s Breath, Latin American Instruments on a Heritage Journey.“
The new season of music will open with a concert of music that is at once charming, comforting, and refreshingly unique! Please join music lovers in a program of Latin American music that celebrates folk traditions from Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia—along with a brand-new work composed by Crescendo collaborators Carlos Boltes, Gonzalo Cortés and Christine Gevert. The concerts will take place at Saint James Place in Great Barrington, MA on Saturday, October 18 at 4 pm, and at Trinity Lime Rock in Lakeville, CT on Sunday, October 19 also at 4 pm. The Salisbury Housing Committee creates affordable rental housing; the Salisbury Housing Trust develops affordable housing for ownership.
