A Tiny Prayer (for those learning about the U.S.-Israel attacks on Iran):
May we not meet this news as passively pessimistic observers but as energized witnesses assured that every life is sacred and that empire-addled attacks are never pathways to peace but always failures of imagination, may all who are directly at risk of harm and hate be surrounded by safety, may our leaders either be visited by deep wisdom that edifies them or by deep resistance that replaces them, and may this fear-filled moment activate all of us to keep finding local ways to embody fierce love as we all work to make every small move toward collaboration tendril out to become global liberation.
