On December 14, sixteen people from Salisbury traveled to Bridgeport to help prepare and serve a “Feel the Warmth Dinner” for 170 people who came out on a bitterly cold night. Our donation enabled them to prepare a delicious dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green salad, and banana pudding.
Christian Action covered the tables with green and red tablecloths and scattered chocolates and candy canes on each table. Santa arrived and handed out presents to all the children with the help of Tenzing, grandson of Kathy Mera. Santa also gave each child a special candy cane from our church school children. Thanks to everyone who purchased gifts for the children of Bridgeport–their eyes lit up as they opened their presents!
Thank you to all our volunteers!Fel

The Salisbury Housing Committee creates affordable rental housing; the Salisbury Housing Trust develops affordable housing for ownership. These two groups of volunteers lead our community in advocating on behalf of neighbors who would otherwise be unable to reside in Salisbury because of our skewed housing prices.
