On February 24th, our church was host to some unusual guests — as Christopher Evers of Animal Embassy brought a number of our creaturely kin to the Parish Hall. The occasion was a “Kid’s Night Out,” designed by Holly Tierney and the Board of Religious Education to give parents an opportunity for fun with their children, or to leave them in a safe gathering and have a couple of free-er hours on a Friday evening! The photos below give a little sense of the delightful time together.

The Salisbury Housing Committee creates affordable rental housing; the Salisbury Housing Trust develops affordable housing for ownership. These two groups of volunteers lead our community in advocating on behalf of neighbors who would otherwise be unable to reside in Salisbury because of our skewed housing prices.
